Letter from DPO President – Nepal Mission

Here some updates regarding our Nepal response.  We are swiftly moving to meeting our financial goals and now have all the necessary funding for the first team to be leaving at the end of May ($10,000 for the Needs Assessment mission, and we are already half way to fund the second team planned for 3 months from now through your generous support).  Our planning session is this Sunday, May 3rd.

International Red Cross, USAid, UNICEF are pouring resources as I am writing this.  For the long haul, donations to organizations like DPO can be a meaningful way for people to engage in building up services where there may have been shortage created or amplified by this disaster.
